    How Alcohol And Insomnia Are Related

    Alcohol and insomnia can both cause troubles in people's lives both working together and apart. Generally speaking, about one in every three people is affected by insomnia every year. Many of these insomnia troubles are reported by the elderly, due to the fact that sleep patterns alteration as we grow older. Insomnia can also be affected by other things such as physical ailments and depression.

    Types of Insomnia

    There are a couple of dissimilar types of insomnia that are generally categorized by how long they last and how severe they are. Temporary insomnia, which has a clear cause such as relocation is generally called transient. Transient insomnia only lasts for a few nights. Insomnia that last two to three weeks is called short-term insomnia. This type of insomnia is generally caused by a problem or grave change in a person's life.     The last type of insomnia is called incessant insomnia. This type of insomnia can cause a lot different types of chronic troubles and diseases.     Common Causes of Insomnia

    There are a lot different things that can cause insomnia.
